Chromium tends to be abused by being distributed with malicious
modifications, so Trend Micro is probably simply being cautious.
If you downloaded Chromium from a safe source, it should be benign.
Otherwise, it might be rogue.

Hello,
Apparently Trend Micro Officescan XG detects Chromium as a threat. A
priori this comes from the fact of Chromium encrypts its work data.
I do not quite understand this reaction especially since it could be an
alternative to Chrome and Firefox ESR for businesses.
Can someone enlighten me?

Hye,
indeed I downloaded chrome on the official website. on the other hand it
is not so simple, trend removes all the files of chrome whose chrome.exe
considering that it presents a risk.
