Discussion:
[chromium-discuss] Will organisation name stop showing for Extended Validation TLS certificates?

It says here (
https://blog.chromium.org/2018/05/evolving-chromes-security-indicators.html)
that Google Chrome will remove the HTTPS indicator and only show the red
"not secure" warning when users enter data on HTTP pages.

Does this mean the organisation name won't show for Extended Validation TLS
certificates. Will it be possible to see this information at all, even if
it is not immediately visible?

Thanks,
Mark

And again, using the @chromium.org address.

Could you tell me which documentation was edited? I also can't find
anything about Extended Validation and how their status is displayed.

I simply assumed that the person that edited that documentation would also
know what is planned for Extended Validation.

I added him to the thread, but he has not posted anything yet. Since two
weeks have passed, I do not count on getting a reply, really.

You can try your luck by posting this to security-dev
<https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!forum/security-dev>.
